Last full day on the ship. This morning is spent trying to figure out how to get 3 suitcases of stuff into 2 suitcases. Then we get to watch the dutch countryside go by until after lunch. It’s flat not like the Rhine valley.
This afternoon we’re off to an open air museum, Zaanse Schans, to see clogs and cheese being made. We have a good guide for this tour, very entertaining.
After the clog making Dea decide to sit out the rest in the cafe. She meets a lovely Dutch couple whom she joins and shares a coffee. I go off and see the cheese making.
Then a tour around the site with a visit to a working windmill grinding minerals to make pigments for paint.
I head back to the cafe where Dea and I have coffee and a Strawberry and cream pancake. The dutch couple return and we share a coffee and a chat. Nice people.
Back to the ship and finish packing for disembarkation tomorrow.
